What are the Winter Night Market opening hours?   

The Winter Night Market is held on Wednesday nights from 5 June to 28 August, 5pm until 10pm. 

Is there parking at the Winter Night Market?   

Yes, event parking is available in both the Queen Victoria Market multi-level Undercover Car Park and the Open Air Car Park. Entry to both car parks is via Queen Street. Parking is a $15 flat rate for entry after 4.30pm. Please note the Open Air Car Park closes at 11pm, the Undercover Car Park is open at all times.  Click here to read more. 

Are pets allowed at the Winter Night Market?   

No animals are allowed at the Winter Night Market, with the exception of registered Assistance and Guide dogs.  

Is there an entry fee for the Winter Night Market?   

No, there is no entry fee at theWinter Night Market. 

Is alcohol available for purchase at the Winter Night Market?   

Yes, while the Winter Night Market is a fully licensed venue, we encourage the responsible consumption of alcohol and only alcohol purchased on the premises may be consumed.    

Are there ATMs available onsite?   

Yes, there are ATMs conveniently located throughout the site. Traders accept both credit card and cash payments, however contactless payment is preferred.   

Is smoking permitted at the Winter Night Market?   

No, smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited within the boundaries of the Winter Night Market.   

Can I film or take photographs at the Market?   

Any commercial or professional photography at the Market requires a permit. You can apply and find more information on filming permits here. It usually takes approximately 72 hours for the permit application to be reviewed. 

Where are the toilets located?   

Toilets are located along Queen Street and in String Bean Alley at the Peel Street end.
